Welcome to 2025! We're going to start the year with some fun photos from a holiday road trip my wife and I did to Arizona. Here's to a fun and productive year to come!

Tonopah, Nevada

We drove from Seattle to Arizona and back, traveling on direction through Utah and the other through Nevada, taking a bit of a detour to drive Nevada Hwy 375, aka the Extraterrestrial Highway.

The signs are so often covered with stickers, making them illegible, that the state raised the height of the signs to make them more difficult to access.

I love the desert - it's such a different landscape from anywhere I've ever lived.

I'm not sure if the desert makes people quirky, or if quirky people are drawn to the desert, but I like the people there nonetheless.

Page, Arizona

Page, Arizona, is centered on the Glen Canyon Dam and the upstream lake; it's mostly a resort town.

As the old cliché goes, photos don't do the place justice. I'm a photographer, so of course I'm going to take some photos, but two-dimensional arrays of pixels just can't capture the colors or the majesty of the desert landscapes.

And, with that, here we go into 2025! Let's work together soon!
