We have earned five bronze awards in the 2013 Epson International Pano Awards!
The winners have been announced for the 2013 Epson International Pano Awards, and I've taken five bronze awards, four for still images and one for a 360˚VR image, all in the open category. This year's theme was "the built environment," which was quite suitable considering the fact that I specialize in architectural photography. I only missed the silver award by a couple of points, but I'm still quite honored to have placed this well.
The four still images are below. Which is your favorite? Let me know in the comments!
I was surprised to discover that my blog software doesn't allow me to embed video files (which is what the most-acceptable 360˚VR output format is), so I flattened the image and posted it below. It's lots more abstract, but I still like it this way. If you're curious, it's the interior of St. Mary's Cathedral in San Francisco.
UPDATE, Aug. 31, 2013: Here's a workaround for those interested in seeing the 360˚VR - I put it here for your viewing pleasure.
Lastly, keep in mind that I can make panos like these for your project — ask about it next time we're scheduling your shoot.
