2017 travel retrospective
Time for an annual flight retrospective now that my air travel is complete for the year.
It was a new record by a long shot, with a total of 63,646 miles.
I got to visit nine countries and spent 140 hours in the air.
The longest flight was LAX-SIN at 8,772 miles and 17 hours. The shortest was about 10 miles and about six minutes, from Meiringen Air Base up to the Ebenflugh firing range in the Swiss Alps.
I traveled on seven different airlines, mostly with Alaska, which got 30% of the total.
There were 17 different aircraft, 16 different airports, and 30 total flights.
Hoping, of course, to top all of that in 2018.
Happy holidays, everyone!
