In Seattle, it’s time for the annual Boeing Seafair Air Show, and what a show it is.

Every summer, toward the end of July, the annual Boeing Seafair Air Show takes over the usually-crowded skies over Seattle. The show officially takes place on Saturday and Sunday, but aerobatic teams, including the US Navy's Blue Angels and Brietling's eight-jet team, begin practicing two days before the show. This slideshow is of the two days of practice leading up to this year's show.

I'm told there might also be some sort of hydroplane boat races down at Lake Washington, ... something to do with the focal point of the weekend, but I've never made it down there. There's too much fun to be had at the airport.
